Due to regulatory requirements the Swiss Post decided to implement an enterprise search in the cloud where parts of the search index had to stay on-premises however. Also, due to the modern work strategy, a state-of-the-art, cloud-native search experience was a must-have requirement. Therefore, the overall solution comprises Microsoft Search as the new enterprise search, SharePoint 2019 as the search engine for secured contents, as well as the Raytion Enterprise Search Connectors and the Raytion Search Center for Microsoft Search. This way, users get one combined result list, sorted by relevance directly in O365. Overall, the new solution brings time-saving and convenient access to its company-wide knowledge.
