Result Blocks
Another element for creating a perfect search are so-called result blocks. This way, the Raytion SRI can precisely address particular search use cases and user intents as part of the search result page. These result blocks can thus be shown above or below the general search result list and provide their own relevance model.
The new Raytion Search & Retrieval Interface makes this easy: In the standard interface, it provides result blocks for people search, recommended links (or so-called editorial results), project spaces and tools. Each of these result blocks shows some results and can optionally be configured to refer to a search vertical. Thus, such a vertical will show all results connected to the specific use case.
Enhanced Filters
We added so-called range filters to the Raytion Search & Retrieval Interface. You can chose them to filter e.g. file sizes, price ranges or product ratings dynamically. The screenshot shows the new range filter. When employed and configured, it is much easier to browse for products or documents.
